Mini-Flashlight
I know that this isn't much. Allow me to explain: this is my first submission modeled AND rendered solely in 3DS Max 8! Yep. I'm quite proud, really.
I have much to learn and many new tools to figure out, but this is a step in the right direction.
Rendered with VRay... but not really sure what I'm doing at this point. I'll get there, though.
BTW: I made this model for Max-Realms.com free model bank back in September 2005. If you want it for any purpose, it's free.
Happy New Year

Beyond Basic
The Basic box was a model created earlier in the year. The lighter is a new 'midget' version of the one I created a few months ago for another submission. This piece was designed, mostly, to test the waters with the Bryce 5 rendering solution. I wanted to see what a rendering would look like at the highest quality settings. After literally 'days' of rendering, it is done! Not really, as I stopped the render before anti-aliasing... couldn't wait another day to complete this. :)
Sorry about the decreased resolution. Since my other monitor commited an act of mutany, I'm forced to use the 'ole standby - a 13inch from the late '90's. So, I figured, if I can't see it rendering, you probably wouldn't want to see it submitted. You never can know what goes on beyond the boundries of 1024 X 768 screen resolution. Also, this submission should show a good deal of correction in lighting and reflective properties of the materials used. The old monitor lied to me on these issues.

AAA's & C In 3D
The title sais it all. The same software as usual... in the same order of use, as usual. Photorealism is the goal.

Duratest Multi-Tool
Modeled in Eovia Hexagon 1.01. Rendered in Corel Bryce 5. 3DLinks needs to HURRY THE HELL UP and include 'HEXAGON' in the 'Which 3D Program was your Primary Tool' combo-box. Gettin' tired of giving all the credit to Bryce. As if...
