I run an online fantasy wrestling league, and we've always used pictures of real wrestlers to represent a character. I've always wanted to steer away from that, though. I'd really love to be able to create a model specifically for a character, but I'm new to this whole thing. I tried using ZBrush a little while back, and did decently with it, but ran into some problems that I just couldn't get by.

I was wondering, what would be the best program/tool for a new user like myself to use to move toward this goal of creating 3D models?
