I Had A Vision On The Kaw

This was a snapshot I took of the Kaw River in Lawrence, KS. The layering, diffusion and lighting effects were done in Picture Publisher, while the monolith was created in Simply 3D and textured with part of the snapshot of the Kaw River.

The skeleton was an AutoCAD file that I downloaded and retextured. The sky was a misdeveloped Polaroid that I added lots of diffusion to make it look like a real sky. The lighting effects were done in Picture Publisher.

You Cannot Come Back Here

The foreground (the glassware, the AutoCAD skeleton, the beer, the counter, )were CG, and the bar is a snapshot. I later added lots of color noise to match the CG elements to the photo.

It was Then When I Saw It

I was able to insert a CG model into the image by articulating a matte around the road sign. Lighting effects, diffusion, motion blur and final compositing was done in Picture Publisher.
